Biografie

Liesbeth Crombez behaalde in 2022 met grote onderscheiding een Master in de Medische en Gezondheidswetenschappen aan de Universiteit Gent. Ze doet momenteel promotieonderzoek op de afdeling Geriatrie om de rol van bacteriële quorum sensing peptiden bij sarcopenie op te helderen. Liesbeth Crombez onderzoekt vooral hun werkingsmechanismen die hun mogelijke associatie met sarcopenie kunnen verklaren.
