Liesbeth Crombez received a Master degree in Medical and Health Sciences in 2022 at Ghent University with great distinction. She is currently conducting PhD research at the Geriatric department aiming to elucidate the role of bacterial quorum sensing peptides in sarcopenia. Liesbeth Crombez mainly investigates their mechanisms of action which can explain their possible association with sarcopenia.
