Dr. Martijn Lambert was born in Aalter on June 19, 1991. He graduated with great distinction as a Master in Dentistry from Ghent University in July 2014. In 2018, he successfully completed his PhD at the same university with the dissertation titled: A Guided Preventive and Curative Oral Care Pathway for High-Risk Groups.
He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Oral Health Sciences and also works as a dentist in private practice and at the Primary Oral Care Center Botermarkt (CEMOB) in Ghent. Within the TRIGG project, he is responsible for mapping the oral health of older participants and investigating the relationships between the oral cavity, the microbiome, and general aging processes.
